Jason Sullivan "Foreboding".
That's the word that keeps popping up in my mind when I listen to this album. Shroud Eater has captured that sense of impending doom and released it on your eardrums! Favorite track: Tempest.
Matthias
Matthias thumbnail
Matthias Big-doom-sludge-slap-in-the-face with mighty Kylesa'ien and Torche'esque force and Mortals-like pissed off female vocals. Big fun! Favorite track: Tempest.

Zhakathoom There is Kylesa, and there are many like it. To the point where it's almost become a subgenre of it's own. But this is one of the best examples of someone boldly stepping into that genre, grabbing it by the throat and making it's own. Shroud Eater surprises on many levels, and being that bright star among many others makes this a seriously noteworthy album.
Michał Dobrzański

Michał Dobrzański Sludgish, nasty and dirty. I love these vocal melodies mingled with pure heavy riffage. Favorite track: Tempest.
Colin M.
Colin M. thumbnail
Colin M. Thick and gloriously heavy chock full of cool vocal melodies and top of the line riffage. Favorite track: Lord of the Sword.

Stijn Van Hees You can't mention this EP without mentioning Kylesa but then again all the other impostors have failed miserably wilst Shroud Eater doesn't.
